PASMA Certification
Once your PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association) training is complete, you will then be certified to work on mobile access towers and platforms. Our courses suit students from a wide variety of industries and environments including construction, manufacturing, retail and education. Our courses will give you the correct skills to be able to assemble, check/sign off and dismantle equipment safely.
As a business, by sending an employee on a PASMA training course you know they’ve obtained the necessary skills to use platform equipment safely and efficiently. It also ensures your compliance with all legal obligations around health and safety concerning working at height.
PASMA Courses Available at TSMC
Our most popular PASMA course – the ‘Towers for Users’ PASMA training course is aimed at individuals who will be responsible for building, dismantling, moving and inspecting mobile access towers wen using 3T (Through The Trapdoor) and AGR (Advanced Guard Rail) systems.
PASMA Towers for Managers and Supervisors
This PASMA course aims to help you to understand and safely coordinate various types of mobile access towers which you as a manager or supervisor control. Candidates will gain an insight into the legislative framework and best practice in managing staff who work at height using mobile access towers.
For Folding Towers & Podium Steps, the PASMA Low-Level Access training course is designed to cover all low-level uses with platform levels of 2.5m or lower.
Podium Steps, Folding Room Scaffolds and Low Level Access Towers are also included in the training. The course will involve theoretical instruction and practical sessions to ensure effective progress. It will give you an overview of regulations and legislation, whilst also teaching you how to safely assemble, dismantle, use, move and inspect low-level prefabricated access units.
Combined PASMA Training (Low Level Access & Towers For Users)
If you’re looking for both Low Level Access and Towers for Users training for either you or your employees, we are able to offer a combined course which provides delegates with both qualifications.
PASMA Working at Height Essentials
Employees who are expected to work at height – or supervise others who do – should take part in a PASMA working at height course. This course offers enhanced understanding of the necessary safety measures which employees need to undertake, as well as what to do if someone breaches them.
