SMSTS Training Course Leeds

Our SMSTS (site managers safety scheme) course delivered from our Leeds training centre covers everything you need to know, in terms of safety, if you’re considering, or already have, responsibilities for planning, organising, monitoring, controlling and administering groups of staff. This includes all relevant legislation which may affect working in the building, construction or civil engineering industries.

Upon successful completion of the course you will be certified for 5 years, showing that you’re able to:

  • implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation affecting your daily work
  • implement new guidance and industry best practice
  • state your duties and responsibilities with regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment

The certification that you recieve is endorsed by Build UK as the standard training for all construction managers.

Already undertaken a SMSTS course? We also offer a refresher course in Leeds, which will extend your certification a further 5 years.

Description

The course is aimed at those who want to gain an understanding of managing health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites. Delegates will analyse their duties and responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety and it will be discussed in interactive activities.
